Well Quakecon 2010 is quite a way's away but due to more interest from people, I figured I would go ahead and start the thread about it.
When is Quakecon 2010: The dates are TBA and likely will not be announced for a few more months. Most likely it will be late July or 2nd week of August as it was last year.
If you don't know what QC is, visit
www.Quakecon.org and familiarize yourself. It's basically the largest North American LAN event held every year in Dallas, Texas. The BYOC ends up with anywhere from 3-6 thousand people playing any and all games. I've been 3 years in a row now and each time have found people to play UT2004 with, though other major games are played like Quakelive, CoD4, Counterstrike, Battlefield, TF2, L4d (this year will be L4D2), and lots of others. It goes from Thursday night through Sunday morning, come and go as you please at all times of day/night.
The Cost: Quakecon is and always will be FREE
